Helsinki Adult Education Centre processes students' personal data to organize education and teaching and to develop customer service. Information is also collected for statutory statistics and funding decisions required by authorities.

Helsinki Adult Education Centre processes personal data in order to carry out its mission as stipulated in the Act on Liberal Educational Work. Helsinki Adult Education Centre is a private adult education centre open to all. The centre serves its customers as a goal-oriented learning community where adults can promote lifelong, continuous learning and spiritual growth.

The privacy notices below provide information about the processing of personal data, the purpose for which the data subject's personal data is needed, whether it will be disclosed, and the data subject's rights.

Tools and distance learning connections used to support learning

Some courses may use systems such as Zoom, Teams, Kahoot or Klinga. These systems are not managed by Helsinki Adult Education Centre and Helsinki Adult Education Centre does not collect or store data. The customer registers their data in the system themselves and accepts the separate privacy notice of each system. In addition to the data entered by the customer, the service provider often stores, for example, IP, device technical data, browser and app data, country data and time zone data.
