Joint environmental education project – material package Kielipuu

Vision Study Center Environmental education as part of immigrants' language training project (2016–2017) has developed environmental education training material for Finnish language and integration courses for immigrants. It has been created together with a working group consisting of environmental experts, Finnish language teachers and representatives of immigrant organizations.

The Kielipuu material is a clear, practical and easy-to-use educational material that enables Finnish language teachers to incorporate sustainable development themes into their teaching. The material is structured in such a way that it can be used in teaching at different language proficiency levels (A1 and A2-B2). The project also includes an online resource bank from which the material can be downloaded. The educational material project has been funded by the Ministry of the Environment.
