Polish language

Polish (język polski [jɛ̃zɨk pɔlski]) is the official language of Poland, a Slavic language. It has about 40 million speakers, most of whom live in Poland (37 million) and about three million live in other countries.

The biggest difficulty for a foreigner in pronouncing Polish is probably the very strongly palatalized consonants, which are written with an acute accent before a consonant and at the end of a word (ć, ń, ś, ź).
