The choir enjoys singing together, learning to listen to others and strengthening singing skills by experimenting together and developing harmony. Three mixed choirs meet in the college building: the HELAO choir, the Day Choir for seniors and the Popular Music Choir in English, where teaching is in English. The choirs' rehearsals are held in the college building's ballroom once a week, and there are no auditions for the choirs, but all levels can join. In addition, the college has two other choirs, the Female Singers Choir and Procantus, which meet in their own premises. Auditions for these two choirs are always held at the beginning of the semester.

College facilities Located with good transport connections, the courses are easy to get to. The courses are held at the university building on Runeberginkatu or in the center of Helsinki on Annankatu.

The lesson length is 45 minutes.

The language of instruction for the courses is usually Finnish. In many courses, teachers can also teach in English or another language. You can ask the student guidance office what language will be used in the course.
