Institute

Fully renovated building containing comfortable space for learning and wellbeing. There are 23 class rooms with modern AV equipment suitable for studying or group work. Premises include space for handicrafts, arts, sports, natural science and digital studies, as well as language studios and a media workshop. Auditorium on the first floor can be divided into two separate spaces. There is a banquet hall on the third floor.

There are changing rooms with showers. Coffee and snack machines are available on two floors. There are 2 student kitchen areas on the 0 and 3rd floors on the Runeberginkatu premises. You may use the microwave oven and refridgerator. There are no cutlery available.

How to get to the Institute?

  • Enjoy the Helsinki City bike lane network and park your bike in the court yard.
  • Buses 20, 24, 25, 30, 27, 41, 42, 69, 70 and trams 1, 2 and 8. Use HSL bus and tram journey planner to find the best routes.
  • Ten minute walk from Kamppi metro station.

Parking

Aimo Park monitors parking. This is done by means of camera surveillance of the number plates.

You can park if you are studying or visit Runeberginkatu 22-24.

Pay the parking fee of €5 to the caretaker. Please allow extra time upon arrival. It may take some time to pay for your parking space, depending on the caretaker’s duties.

Parking fine is 60 €

You can get a fine if you park in violation of the conditions.

Changing rooms

The changing rooms on Runeberginkatu are located on floors 0., 1., and 5. The big changing rooms on floor 0 have large lockers, showers, and toilets. The changing room on floor 1 is a small unisex space, which you can get the key for from the janitor. The small changing rooms on floor 5 have coat racks for outerwear and small lockable safety boxes for valuable items. Ask the janitor for the door codes of the changing rooms on floors 0 and 5.
