Information on course registration
Browse courses on our website. Registration for autumn 2020 starts June 1.
You can pick up a printed programme from teaching premises around downtown Helsinki, the entrance hall to S-Market Tullinpuomi, libraries, biggest bookstores and for example from TE Office or Virka Info (Pohjoisesplanadi 11-13, lobby of City Hall).
How to register
You can register on a course as follows:
- on our website
- in our office at Mannerheimintie 114.
- by email firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note that your registration is not valid until a confirmation from the office. f you register by email, we’d need following information: name and surname, date of birth, address, email and phone number.
- It is not possible to register by phone.
When registering online, you need to use your Finnish social security number. If you do not wish to give out your social security number or you do not have one yet, you can register in the office.
Please remember to register in good time if you want to ensure a place in the course. If the course is full, you can place yourself on a waiting list. Our office will inform you if a place becomes available.
The course information (time, place etc.) may change after the printed programme’s publication. Please check current information before registration on our website or in the Institute’s office.
The length of each lesson (t) is 45 minutes.
The Institute does not purchase insurance on behalf of the students. The Institute does not provide locked or guarded areas for clothing or property. There are no free parking places for students at the Institute.

For more information on courses please check our contact details. Course counselling is provided by head teachers responsible for specific areas of study. Make sure the head teacher in question is available for consultation.
In general, the language of instruction is Finnish. In many courses the teacher is also able to instruct in English or some other language. Please contact the head teacher to find out the main language of instruction.
