The Free Educational Work Days are a national event that brings together professionals in the field and is held once a year. The main venue for the event, held in August, was the Helsinki Adult Education Institute on Runeberginkatu.

The theme is “Diversity of liberal arts as a social resource”

The autumn event brought together actors to consider current issues in liberal education in the spirit of the centenary of Education. The theme of the event was the meeting of the past, present and future. A diverse program of lectures, workshops and discussions was promised.

125 people on site and 40 online shared their experiences, sought new ideas for their work, and together built the future of liberal arts education.

Organizers

The Aktiivi-Institutuutti, regional administrative agencies, the Finnish Study Centres Association and the Finnish Free Educational Work Association were responsible for the arrangements for the days.
